FINDINGS
' Soil descriptions from MW-8, supplemented with soil data from previous site investigations, were
' utilized to construct hydrostratigraphic cross section E-E', hydrostratigraphic cross sections C-C'
and D-D' were previously presented in Cone Penetrometer Testing Site Investigation - Fourth
Quarter 2000, dated 07 February 2001
1
3 1 SOIL DISTRIBUTION
' Based on observations of soil data collected from MW-8 (Appendix B), dense to very dense,
unconsolidated, poorly graded, fine to medium SAND/silty SAND was generally observed at depths
' between 15 to 50 feet bsg Between 55 and 75 feet bsg, a fine-grained., sandy, clayey SILT was
generally observed At depths between 80 and 165 feet bsg, a dense, poorly graded, unconsolidated,
fine to medium sand was generally observed Saturated soil was encountered from MW-8 at a depth
' of 30 feet bsg
The boring logs are included in Appendix B Soil data from well MW-8 is shown on cross section
tE-E'(Figure 4)
1
' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
