t17 April 2003 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 97-0333 <br /> tPage 5 of 7 <br /> ' 2 6 INITIAL MULTI-LEVEL WELL GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION <br /> On 10, 11 and 12 November 2002, 52 water samples were collected from all monitoring points <br /> ' located at wells MW-7 through MW-13 as part of the fourth quarter 2002 ground water monitoring <br /> event, the results of the fourth quarter monitoring and ground water extraction activities will be <br /> presented in the AGE-prepared Quarterly Report-Fourth Quarter 2002 <br /> 27 WELL ELEVATION SURVEY <br /> ' On 22 November 2002,a state of California state-licensed survey engineer from Baumbach&Piazza <br /> Engineering, Inc surveyed a reference point on the top of the well casing of wells MW-7 through <br /> ' MW-13 to the nearest 0 01-foot relative to a known City of Manteca Bench Mark Datum(Elevation <br /> 32 639)located near the site The results of the monitoring well survey are contained in Table 2 The <br /> surveying report (Baumbach & Piazza Job No 9797) is presented in Appendix D <br /> 3.0. FINDINGS <br /> ' Soil descriptions from MW-8, supplemented with soil data from previous site investigations,were <br /> ' utilized to construct hydrostratigraphic cross section E-E', hydrostratigraphic cross sections C-C' <br /> and D-D' were previously presented in Cone Penetrometer Testing Site Investigation - Fourth <br /> Quarter 2000, dated 07 February 2001 <br /> 1 <br /> 3 1 SOIL DISTRIBUTION <br /> ' Based on observations of soil data collected from MW-8 (Appendix B), dense to very dense, <br /> unconsolidated,poorly graded,fine to medium SAND/silty SAND was generally observed at depths <br /> ' between 15 to 50 feet bsg Between 55 and 75 feet bsg, a fine-grained., sandy, clayey SILT was <br /> generally observed At depths between 80 and 165 feet bsg, a dense,poorly graded, unconsolidated, <br /> fine to medium sand was generally observed Saturated soil was encountered from MW-8 at a depth <br /> ' of 30 feet bsg <br /> The boring logs are included in Appendix B Soil data from well MW-8 is shown on cross section <br /> tE-E'(Figure 4) <br /> 1 <br /> ' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
