(AGE) to advance two (2), 2-
inch diameter soil borings under San Joaquin County permit at 429 West Yosemite, Manteca,
California. The proposed work is being performed under a directive issued by the Central Valley
Regional Water Quality Control Board to investigate petroleum-impacted groundwater. The site
under investigation is located directly to the southeast at the Save-On Gasoline Station, 420 West
Yosemite Avenue, Manteca, California. The scope of work will include the following:
Advancement of two (2), 2-inch diameter soil borings to total depths of 135 feet below surface
grade (bsg). The proposed soil borings will be advanced using a truck mounted drilling rig. The
soil boring will be utilized for collection of deep groundwater samples at various depths between
20 feet bsg and 1135 feet bsg. The groundwater samples will be used to investigate historical
leaking underground storage tanks previously installed at 420 West Yosemite Avenue, Manteca,
California.
Upon completion of each soil boring and collection of groundwater samples, the proposed soil
boring will be abandoned by backfilling with a Portland cement and the surface will be returned to
the original condition (i.e. asphalt).
All costs for performance of the above subsurface investigation will be the sole responsibility of
the Save-On Gasoline Station, property owner(s) of 420 West Yosemite Avenue, Manteca,
California. The Save-On Gasoline Station owners are solely responsible for all costs and
expenses for all investigation(s) associated with contamination associated with the leaking
underground storage tanks formerly located at 420 West Yosemite Avenue, Manteca, California.
Any work performed at 429 Yosemite Avenue, Manteca, California shall be conducted under San
Joaquin County permit and in accordance with all local regulations.
Copies of all testing and/or reporting for any investigation or testing performed at 429 Yosemite
Avenue, Manteca, California can be forwarded upon request. AGE will provide at least 1 week(s)
time notice and receive property owner approval prior to the initiation of field activities, which shall
be conducted in a manner to minimize disruption of normal site activities.
X44Aj G 1 22 o i-6
--- U
Authorized Representative, Property Owner Date
429 Yosemite Avenue
Manteca, California, 95336
