r. <br /> Work Plan for Re-excavation May 3, 1989 <br /> Former Texaco Service Station, Manteca, California AGS 38053-1 <br /> 1) beneath the removed underground product-delivery lines; 2) the <br /> base and sidewalls of the subsequent excavation, and 3) soil <br /> removed by excavation and stockpiled at the site. Soil samples <br /> selected for testing will be analyzed for TPH as gasoline and <br /> diesel using modified Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) <br /> Method 8015 with extraction by EPA Method 3550 and for benzene, <br /> toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylene isomers (BTEX) using EPA <br /> Method 8020. in addition, the four soil samples collected from <br /> the stockpiled soil showing the highest Ovsl readings will be <br /> analyzed for organic lead using the method recommended by the <br /> DHS. Detection limits suitable for the tests requested and <br /> concentrations present will be stated on the laboratory reports. <br /> The tests for TPH and BTEX will be performed at the site by <br /> Mobile Chem Labs, Inc. , of San Carlos, California (Hazardous <br /> -� Waste Testing Laboratory Certificate No. 195) . The tests for <br /> organic lead will be performed at CHEMWEST Analytical Laboratory, <br /> of Sacramento, California (Hazardous Waste Testing Laboratory <br /> Certification No. 185) . <br /> Additional Tasks <br /> Upon interpreting the field and laboratory data at the extent of <br /> ----------- -- <br /> - ------------------------ ------------ <br /> the excavation, Applied GeoSystems may recommend dzscon inuing <br /> 14 <br /> Applied OOOSY OMS <br />
