6N'+ <br /> August 8, 1988 AGS Job No. 330531 <br /> Former Texaco Service Station, Manteca, California <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> Site_Description <br /> The site is located on East Yosemite Avenue in Manteca, <br /> California. The location of the site is shown on the Site <br /> Vicinity Map, (Plate P--1) . Five underground storage tanks, which <br /> were removed in February 1988, were located at the site. <br /> Information provided by the property owner indicates that four <br /> 1,000-gallon gasoline tanks were used to store regular-leaded <br /> gasoline, regular--unleaded gasoline, super-unleaded gasoline, and <br /> diesel oil, and a 500-gallon tank was used to store waste oil. <br /> The waste-oil tank was located north of the station building, and <br /> the gasoline storage tanks were located east of the station <br /> ; ► building. The approximate locations of the tanks are shown on <br /> the Generalized Site Plan (Plate P-2) . <br /> Previous Work <br /> On February 11, 1988, Jim Thorpe oil, Inc. , removed the five <br /> a+ underground storage tanks from the site. Ganonie Environmental <br /> Services Corporation was onsite to collect soil samples from <br /> beneath each tank. According to the Canonie Environmental <br /> t4 .. services field sampling log, soil samples were collected from <br /> .4pa/ie0F 0490SYsteMS - <br />
