Other <br /> requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be modified. <br /> 1) A soil suitability and nitrate loading study incorporating proposed all existing and proposed <br /> onsite wastewater treatment system use shall be submitted to the Environmental Health <br /> Department indicating that the area is suitable for septic system usage. The studies must be <br /> approved by the Environmental Health Department prior to issuance of a building permit. <br /> (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). <br /> The fee will be based on the current schedule at the time of payment. <br /> a) Construction of an individual sewage disposal system under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the <br /> Soil Suitability and Nitrate Loading Study findings (San Joaquin County Development <br /> Title, Section 9-1110.3 & 9-1110.4). <br /> 2) Open, pump, and backfill the septic tanks to be abandoned (permits 72-871, 81-109, & 92- <br /> 3850) under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Department (San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title, Section 9-1110.3 & 9-1110.4). <br /> 3) All Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (OWTS) must comply with San Joaquin County <br /> Local Agency Management Program (LAMP) and current OWTS standards. <br /> a) The property owner shall ensure that the leach lines/disposal fields are maintained in an <br /> open area. No leach line shall be under concrete, pavement, or be driven over, parked <br /> on, or used as a storage area. (San Joaquin County Onsite Wastewater Treatment <br /> Systems Standards, Section 9.5.4). <br /> b) Only domestic sewage is allowed to discharge into the OWTS. No basement, footing or <br /> surface drainage or discharge from water softener, iron filter, pool filters, or water <br /> treatment systems shall be permitted to enter any part of the OWTS (San Joaquin County <br /> OWTS Standards 1.10.1). <br /> c) Prohibited discharges into OWTS include: automobile and garage waste, storm drainage, <br /> solvents and toxics, solids, garbage, kitchen wastewater from restaurant or bar, air <br /> 1868 E.
