SOUTH SAN JOAQUIN
IRRIGATION DISTRICT
August 4, 2020
San Joaquin County
Community Development Department
Development Services Division
1810 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, CA 95205
Attn: Jennifer Jolley
Subject: Application No. PA-2000121 (LA)
Owner: Minerva V. Martz, Trust
APN: 206-100-17 & 18
Dear Ms. Jolley:
The South San Joaquin Irrigation District owns, operates and maintains irrigation and/or
drainage facilities which may provide service to the property described in the subject application.
When property boundaries are changed, it is likely to affect the current method of water billing
and water delivery. In some cases, the District will no longer be able to provide irrigation
service unless certain provisions are made to extend or relocate facilities to accommodate the
newly established parcels. Further conflicts could occur if these parcels are sold or transferred to
others without provisions for irrigation service.
Based upon the information provided in the referral, there may be a concern relative to the
District's ability to continue to service the newly configured parcels. If changes in the method of
irrigation are desired by owner, it is recommended that the owner contact the District, prior to the
completion of the process,to determine the necessity for changes to the existing infrastructure, or
easements in order to accommodate the proposed boundary changes. The owner will need to
P.O. Box 747, Ripon, CA 95366-0747 (Mailing)
11011 E. Highway 120, Manteca, CA 95336-9750
(209) 249-4600
