The inactive number is CAL000344657. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall not treat,store, dispose of,transport or offer for <br /> transportation, hazardous waste without having received an Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) Identification <br /> (ID)Number.A State EPA ID number is required for generators of less than 100 kg RCRA hazardous waste per <br /> month, less than 1 kg of acutely hazardous waste per month or any amount of non-RCRA hazardous waste. ID <br /> numbers are unique to a business and site location. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION:Go to the DTSC web site at hftps://dtsc.ca.gov/apply-for-hazardous-waste-epa-id-number/ <br /> to reactivate your ID number. Immediately reactivate your ID number and submit evidence to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 102 CCR 66262.11 Failed to determine if a waste is a hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATIONS: The facility contracts maintenance companies to service their equipment. Hyundai services one <br /> loader, Road Machinery services one loader,JM Equipment services 5 forklifts,and Rogers Machinery services 1 <br /> compressor. According to the vice president of operations, Jesus Redublo, if oil leaks from a machine,absorbent is <br /> placed to contain the spill. The waste generated from the incident will then get taken back to the contractor's <br /> service yard for disposal. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste <br /> as specified in Title 22 California Code of Regulations(CCR). There are wastes that are listed as hazardous <br /> wastes. There are wastes that exhibit one or more of the hazardous waste characteristics:toxic, corrosive, reactive <br /> or ignitable. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately cease disposal, make a hazardous waste determination for oily absorbent, <br /> and manage it according to Title 22 CCR. Use Safety Data Sheets(SDS),waste sampling and test results or other <br /> knowledge to support your hazardous waste determination. Waste testing must be done using methods specified in <br /> Title 22 CCR including sections 66261.20-24. <br /> Submit a statement and supporting documentation with your hazardous waste determination. Demonstrate current <br /> storage and labeling for wastes determined to be hazardous wastes.
