1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT:
1.1 Description of Site: The project consists of one parcel totaling 40 acres, located at
16042 E. Baker Road, Linden, California. The project is in an agricultural community and is
zoned AG -40. The project Assessor's Parcel Number is 091-100-08.
Description of proposed development: The purpose of this project is to subdivide the existing
40 acre parcel into one parcel and an unsurveyed remainder. The proposed parcel would be
approximately 2.3 acres encompassing the existing house.
1.2 Parcel vicinity location map: (See Appendix).
1.3 Site map: (See Appendix).
2.0 PAST, PRESENT, AND PROPOSED FUTURE USES OF THIS SITE:
2.1 Discussion of Past, Present uses at the site to assess potential problems: The present owner,
Andrew Lagomarsino, has owned this property for l0+years and the property has been in his family
for much longer. The past and present uses of the property have been for agriculture and residential
purposes. The proposed project would not change the existing uses.
3.0 EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE SECTION:
3.1 Description of Existing on-site septic tank usage: The purpose of this project is to create
two 5.0 acre parcels. (See Appendix)
3.2 Site Septic Permit History: Research for septic permits revealed permits for this parcel.
(See Appendix)
3.3 Discussion of On-site Repair History: There is no history of septic repair/addition. (See
Appendix)
3.4 Description of Existing Septic Tank Usage in the General Area: Septic systems in the
general area consists of what seem to be standard systems consisting of leach lines and seepage
pits. The Environmental Health Records regarding the site's well mention the approximate location
and size, but no specific data is provided. The owners of the property do not have any records of
the on-site septic system type, besides knowing it is a 1,000 gallon septic tank. They have no
records or knowledge of the system type or age other than it was probably built pre -1960. They
have no repair records.
3.5 General area septic permit history (number/types/dates of permits, age of system,
permit numbers, copies in report): In searching permits for septic systems in San Joaquin
County Environmental Health Department records, the septic systems in this general area range
in installation dates from 1973 to 2016. (Copies of permits are in index.)
3.6 Discussion of general area septic tank repair history: Repair history of the septic systems
in this area reveal that the leach lines and seepage pits have resulted in consistent unerring
performance. (See Appendix).
