Introduction. <br /> 17 1.1. On February 2, 1990, the Department of Health Services ("DHS") <br /> 18 served a Corrective Action Order and Complaint for Penalty, Docket No. HWCA <br /> 19 89/90-31, pursuant to California Health and Safety Code ("HSC') section 25187, upon <br /> 20 BP Chemicals, Inc. ("BP Chemicals"). An operating division of BP Chemicals, <br /> 21 BP Aerospace Composites/Stockton ("BP Aerospace"), operates the aerospace <br /> 22 components manufacturing facility located at 3437 South Airport Way, Stockton, <br /> 23 California 95206 ("the Facility"). The Department of Toxic Substances Control <br /> 24 ("DTSC"), successor herein to DHS, and BP Chemicals, on behalf of BP Aerospace, <br /> 25 now settle that proceeding upon the terms and conditions set forth in this Consent <br /> 26 Agreement and Order ("Order"). <br /> 27 <br /> CONSENT AGREEMENT AND ORDER <br /> 1. <br />
