At least weekly, the <br /> owner or operator shall inspect areas used for container storage or transfer. <br /> See No. 20 regarding the Weekly Satellite Accumulation Area Inspection Log(Fig. 3) <br /> 4. The hazardous waste tank is not being inspected daily. An employee was asked how <br /> often the tank was inspected and was not able to provide the correct answer. <br /> Ensure that all hazardous waste tanks are inspected daily and provide adequate <br /> training to the employees conducting the inspections on what is required to be <br /> inspected. <br /> The chromium treatment tank is currently being inspected daily to ensure that there aren't <br /> any leaks. We will expand the daily inspection checklist to include additional items that <br /> need to be inspected(Fig. 12) <br /> 10. An annual waste minimization certification was not submitted to the Certified <br /> Unified Program Agency (CUPA) annually. <br /> Attached is the annual waste minimization certification(Fig. 13). <br /> 33. At the time of the inspection an adjusted estimate of the cost of closing the CA unit <br /> was not submitted to the CUPA since 2007. The estimate must be submitted along <br /> with the UPCF Certification of Financial Assurance to the CUPA by March 1 of <br /> each year. <br /> Attached is a copy of the closure cost estimate and the UPCF Certification of Financial <br /> Assurance form and statement.
