Assign your own unique number to each <br /> unit. The number can be sequential (1, 2, 3) or you may use any system you choose. <br /> This category is only available to generators that treat less than 55 gallons or 500 pounds of hazardous waste in any calendar month <br /> in ALL units at thisfacility and that are not otherwise required to obtain a hazardous wastefacilities permit. This volume limit applies <br /> to the TOTAL hazardous waste treated onsite in any calendar month, and is NOT a limit for each wastestream or unit separately. <br /> The wastestreams treated must be limited to those listed in title 22, CCR, section 67450.11, which are also listed below. <br /> Enter the estimated monthly total volume of hazardous waste treated by this unit. This should be the maximum or highest amount <br /> treated in any month. Indicate in the narrative (Section 11) if your operations have seasonal variations. <br /> 1. WASTESTREAMS AND TREATMENT PROCESSES: <br /> Estimated Monthly Total Volume Treated: Pounds and/or 16 gallons <br /> The following are the eligible wastestreams and treatment processes. Please check all applicable boxes: <br /> L Aqueous wastes containing hexavalent chromium may be treated by the following process: <br /> ❑ a. Reduction of hexavalent chromium to trivalent chromium with sodium bisulfate, sodium metabisulfite, sodium <br /> thiosulfate, ferrous sulfate, ferrous sulfide or sulfur dioxide provided both pH and addition of the reducing agent <br /> are automatically controlled. <br /> 2. Aqueous wastes containing metals listed in Title 22, CCR, section 66261.24 (a)(2), including silver from photofinishing, <br /> and/or fluoride salts may be treated by the following technologies: <br /> ❑ a. pH adjustment or neutralization. <br /> ❑ b. Precipitation or crystallization. <br /> ❑ C. Phase separation by filtration, centrifugation, or gravity settling. <br /> ❑ d. Ion exchange. <br /> ❑ e. Reverse osmosis. <br /> ❑ f. Metallic replacement. <br /> ❑ g. Plating the metal onto an electrode. <br /> ❑ h. Electrodialysis. <br /> ❑ i. Electrowinning or electrolytic recovery. <br /> ❑ j.
