STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY <br /> DEPARTMENT OF TOXIC SUBSTANCES CONTROL <br /> IN THE MATTER OF: Docket SRPD 03/04 SCC-4313 <br /> Tyco Electronics Corporation CORRECTIVE ACTION <br /> Printed Circuit Group Stockton Division CONSENT AGREEMENT <br /> 1848 and 1856 Field Avenue <br /> Stockton, California 95203 Health and Safety Code <br /> EPA ID Number CAD982370629 Sections 25187 and 25200.14 <br /> Respondent. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) and Tyco <br /> Electronics Corporation, Printed Circuit Group Stockton Division (Respondent) enter <br /> into this Corrective Action Consent Agreement (Consent Agreement) and agree as <br /> follows: <br /> 1 .1. Jurisdiction exists pursuant to Health and Safety Code section 25187 <br /> and 25200.14, which authorize DTSC to issue an order to require corrective action <br /> when DTSC determines that there is or may be a release of hazardous waste or <br /> hazardous waste constituents into the environment from a facility. <br /> 1.2. The parties enter into this Consent Agreement to avoid the expense <br /> of litigation and to carry out promptly the corrective action described below. <br /> 1.3. Respondent is the former operator of a hazardous waste facility <br /> located at 1848 and 1856 Field Avenue, Stockton, California 95203 ("Field Facility"). In <br /> May 2001 , Respondent ceased operations at the Field Facility and commenced closure <br /> activities. <br /> 1.3.1. Lika Corporation operated a printed circuit board manufacturing at <br /> the Field Facility from 1982 to 1986. <br /> 1.3.2. In August 1987, Citation Circuits leased the Field Facility and <br /> operated the printed circuit board manufacturing at the site. <br /> 1.3.3. In October 1995, Sigma Circuits purchased Citation Circuits. <br /> 1.3.4. In July 1998, Respondent purchased Sigma Circuits. <br /> 1.3.5. The current property owner is Giannecchini Company located in <br /> Stockton, California. <br />
