The caron adsorbtion
equipment (Influent -1) is manufactured by Westvaco. It is an
upflow design that uses pulsing principle to remove spent carbon
and add fresh carbon.
- Influents -2 and-3 are soil gas and water that are pulled from
shallow wells by portable vacuum pump systems. The vacuum systems
remove the contaminated soil gas and water from the wells, separate
the gas from liquid, and pass each phase through portable carbon
containers.
