Assessment of existing Toxic Material Storage Tank <br /> System. <br /> Dear Mr. Meling, <br /> This report is to certify that the above-mentioned Toxic Material <br /> Management System conforms to the Environmental Health Standards <br /> for Hazardous Waste, Title 22, Section 66264 . 175 and Section <br /> 66264. 191 . <br /> A. CONTAINMENT: The Containment System is shown on the attached <br /> sketch, page Al . The concrete base is free of cracks and <br /> gaps, and is coated with impervious sealant to contain any <br /> leak, spill or accumulated precipitation. The base is sloped <br /> to a Collecting Well equipped with a Discharge Pumping System <br /> to remove any leak, spill or precipitation. The Containment <br /> System has a total capacity of 11653 gallons. The Toxic <br /> Material Container has a volume of 6000 gallons. <br /> Calculations based upon a 24 hour , 2.5 year storm run-off , <br /> plus 10% of the aoregate volume of all containers, is <br /> attached on page A3. <br /> B. ASSESSMENT OF EXISTING TANK SYSTEM: The existing Tanks <br /> located at the facility are all in good condition and <br /> no leaks are observed. The tanks are adequately designed, <br /> and have sufficient structural strength and computability <br /> with the waste material to be transferred , stored or <br /> treated, and they should be in satisfactory working <br /> condition. <br /> 2237 SCENIC DRIVE MODESTO.
