Assign your own unique number to each <br /> unit. The number can be sequential (1, 2, 3) or you may use any system you choose. <br /> This form is to be used by all fixed Permit by Rule (PBR) units only. the Onsite Hazardous Waste Treatment Form combined with <br /> this unit specific notification supercedes DTSC Forms 8462A and 8462B. Do not use any part of DISC 1772 for PBR Transportable <br /> Treatment Units (=s). TTUs must continue to use DTSC Forms 8429 and 8429A, as modified for AB 1772. <br /> The wastestreams treated must be limited to those listed in title 22. CCR, section 67450.11. which are also listed below. <br /> Enter the estimated monthly total volume of hazardous waste treated by this unit. This should be the maximum or highest amount <br /> treated in any month. Indicate in the narrative (Section 11) if your operations have seasonal variations. <br /> 1. WASTESTREAMS AND TREATMENT PROCESSES: <br /> Estimated Monthly Total Volume Treated: NA pounds and/or 930,000gallons <br /> The following are the eligible wastestreams and treatment processes. Please check all applicable boxes: <br /> 1. Aqueous wastes containing hexavalent chromium may be treated by the following process: <br /> ❑ a. Reduction of hexavalent chromium to trivalent chromium with sodium bisulfite, sodium metabisulfite, sodium <br /> thiosulfate, ferrous sulfate, ferrous sulfide or sulfur dioxide provided both pH and addition of the reducing agent <br /> are automatically controlled. <br /> 2. Aqueous wastes containing metals listed in Title 22, CCR, section 66261.24 (a)(2) and/or fluoride salts may be treated by <br /> the following technologies: <br /> © a. pH adjustment or neutralization. <br /> ® b. Precipitation or crystallization. <br /> ® C. Phase separation by filtration, centrifugation, or gravity settling. <br /> ❑ d. Ion exchange. <br /> ❑ e. Reverse osmosis. <br /> ❑ f. Metallic replacement. <br /> ❑ g. Plating the metal onto an electrode. <br /> ❑ h. Electrodialysis. <br /> ❑ i. Electrowinning or electrolytic recovery. <br /> ❑ <br /> J.
