Box 248 , Lower River Road <br /> Charleston, Tennessee 37310 <br /> Re: OLIN-INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER DISCHARGE <br /> PERMIT NO. 92-5 <br /> Dear Ms. Clark: <br /> The City of Manteca Public Works Department and the Cit_v ' = <br /> consultant, Mr. Keith Conarroe with James M. Montgomery <br /> Engineers , have inspected Olin' s MQUAD Wastewater Treatment <br /> System and found the facility to be installed in accordance <br /> with approved plans and specifications. <br /> One item that was noted during the inspection, that must be <br /> corrected, was the outer edge of the neutralization system <br /> platform is located above the containment wall such that <br /> drainage from the platform will fall on the top of the <br /> containment wall rather than inside the containment structure . <br /> To prevent this from occurring, the installation of a drain <br /> shield along the outside edge of the platform was discussed <br /> during the inspection. <br /> Attached, for your information, is a copy of Mr. Conarroe ' s <br /> inspection report and a copy of the conditions to be attached <br /> to Olin Corporation Permit No. 92-5 . Please note in Mr. <br /> Conarroe' s report that the charge to the City for <br /> professional services is $632 . 00 . <br /> Olin will be required to submit the first quarterly report, <br /> normally due January 15 , within two weeks following start-up of <br /> the system. Thereafter, quarterly reports are due on the dates <br /> indicated in the permit conditions . <br /> The City is prepared to issue Olin' s permit upon completion c' <br /> the following: <br /> 1001 W.
