Your notifications are administratively complete, but have not been reviewed for technical adequacy. <br /> A technical review of your notifications will be conducted when an inspection is performed. At any time, you may be <br /> inspected and will be subject to penalty if violations of laws or regulations are found. <br /> Pursuant to Title 22, California Code of Regulations(CCR), section 67450.2(b), you are hereby authorized to <br /> operate the fixed treatment unit(s) listed on the last page of this letter pursuant to Permit by Rule. Your authorization to <br /> operate under Permit by Rule expires on March 1, 1996. You will receive a renewal package later this calendar year. <br /> As set forth in Title 22, CCR, section 67450.9(c), this authorization of the Permit by Rule (PER) unit(s) is <br /> contingent upon the accuracy of information submitted by you in the notifications mentioned above. Any <br /> misrepresentation or any failure to fully disclose all relevant facts shall render this authorization to operate null and void. <br /> Units operating under Conditional Authorization(CA) or Conditional Exemption (CE) are authorized by <br /> California law without additional Department action, pursuant to Health and Safety Code sections 25200.3 and 25201.5. <br /> Annual renewal is not required for the units operating under these permitting tiers. Your authorization to operate all of <br /> these units continues until you notify DTSC that you have stopped treating waste and have fully closed the unit(s). <br /> You will be charged annual fees calculated on a calendar year basis for each year you operate and have not <br /> notified DTSC that you have closed the unit. Under PER, facilities are required to implement the closure plan and close <br /> the PER treatment units(s)within 90 days of treating the last volume of hazardous waste (Title 22, CCR <br /> 67450.3(c)(11)(D)). You are also required to notify the DTSC 15 days prior to the completion of the closure of any <br /> PBR unit or facility (Title 22, CCR 67450.3(c)(11)(F)). The facility must stay in compliance with all regulations until <br /> the certification required by Title 22, CCR 67450.3(c)(11)(G) is submitted. <br /> Under Conditional Authorization and Conditional Exemption, you are also required to properly close any <br /> treatment unit. <br /> IF 6 <br />
