Clear Day _ Page 2 of 4
From: Aris Cacapit [EH] [mailto:acacapit@sjcehd.com]
Sent: Friday, May 22, 2009 3:16 PM
To: Bour, Dennis
Subject: RE: Clarification about analytical test results
Hi Dennis,
Just to clarify, Jamie works for OES.
I work for EHD.
Aris Cacapit, REHS
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
600 E.Main St.
Stoekton,CA 95202
(209)468-3453 desk
(209)468-3433 fax
From: Bour, Dennis [mailto:Dennis.Bour@thule.com]
Sent: Friday, May 22, 2009 11:52 AM
To: Aris Cacapit [EH]
Cc:Jim Carro
Subject: RE: Clarification about analytical test results
Good Morning Aris,
I think there is a misunderstanding on the samples, how CDMS has worded the rinse tanks [stage 2# 1,
2/stage 4#1, 2/stage 5#1, 2/stage 7#1, 2]for how they were sampled. Each stage has a pre rinse and
a post rinse that is supplied from each stage and is drained back into said stage[tank].These are a spray
rinse that drains back into each stage. We term our tanks as a stage through the system. Each tank was
sampled independently according to CDMS directions with the sample bottles supplied by them under the
directions given when Jim and I did the walk through when he was here. There is very minimal over flow
that actually goes into the waste stream. I am copying Jim Carro from CDMS on this to clarify any
misunderstanding.
I am leaving tomorrow for Michigan to get my things and will be driving back across country for my
permanent move here to Lodi and will be back at work on the 3rd of June for a meeting with Jamie
Delarosa from the EHD. I have asked for her help in revamping and rebuilding our programs here to
better our plan and to ensure we are in complete compliance with the Rules and Regulations that have
been set forth for this Facility. I will be back in touch when I get back but will be available by cell and
email if need be.
Jim could you clarify the results with Aris if possible.
Thank you Dennis
Dennis M. Bour
Maintenance & Facilities Manager
5/22/2009
