���. <br />S <br />AN JOA U I N Environmental Health Department <br />COUNTY <br />Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br />Facility Name: <br />Facility Address: <br />Date: <br />OLD CASTLE INFRASTRUCTURE <br />10304 W LINNE RD, TRACY <br />September 12, 2019 <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />Item # <br />Remarks <br />301 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br />OBSERVATION: The following was observed near hazardous waste storage area: <br />- One milling machine observed with used oil accumulating at the base of the equipment. <br />- Secondary containment for one approximately 300 gallon used oil tank observed with approximately 1-2 inches of <br />oil. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br />possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non -sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br />waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean accumulating oil on milling machine and secondary containment for <br />used oil tank. Manage the waste according to Title 22 California Code of Regulations for hazardous waste. Submit <br />a statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department describing <br />the storage and final disposition of the cleaned up waste. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />505 <br />CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label stationary hazardous waste tanks. <br />OBSERVATION: The hazardous waste tank storing used oil does not have complete labeling. <br />- One approximately 300 gallon tank with used oil observe with no hazardous waste label found in hazardous waste <br />storage area. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste tanks shall be marked with the words "Hazardous Waste" and the <br />accumulation start date. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Label the hazardous waste tanks with the words "Hazardous Waste" and the accumulation <br />start date.
