A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose <br />of, transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without a hazardous waste ID number. Go to the DTSC <br />web site https://www.dtsc.ca.gov/iDManifest/ReactivateID.cfm for the form to reactivate the ID number . <br />Immediately reactivate your State EPA ID number and submit evidence to the EHD. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by March 4, 2019. <br />Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152). To schedule an <br />appointment, please call (209) 468-3420. <br />Waste streams observed: used oil and drained used oil filters <br />Inspector provided: Return to Compliance Cetification form, flyer for free CUPA Classes, flyer for correct <br />hazardous waste labeling and a new modified contingency plan to update during time of inspection. <br />Observations noted during time of inspection: <br />A 55 gallon drum of used oil was not marked with the accumulation start date. <br />All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> - the words “Hazardous Waste” <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties <br /> - physical state <br /> - composition (contents) <br /> - accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. <br />This was corrected on site. <br />The accumulation start date for a 55 gallon drum of drained used oil filters was missing. <br />Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as “drained <br />used oil filters,” and marked with an accumulation start date.
