3 0 CONCLUSIONS, RECOMMENDATIONS AND PROJECT STATUS <br /> Between June 26 and September 26, 2002, the groundwater surface dropped an average of 0 34 <br /> feet, the groundwater gradient decreased from 0 0095 to 0 0060 foot/foot, and the groundwater <br /> ' flow direction shifted approximately 5 degrees toward the north Over the past nine quarters, the <br /> groundwater flow direction has shifted between northwest and northeast, over a range of <br /> approximately 45 degrees <br /> Between June 26, and September 26, 2002, concentrations of TPH-as-gasol€ne increased in MW- <br /> ' 3 and MW-4, possibly due to a change in laboratories and analytical method for TPH-as-gasoline <br /> Previously TPH-as-gasoline was analyzed by EPA Method 8260B For the first time, these <br /> compounds were analyzed by EPA Method 8020/8015M Over the past nine quarters, the <br /> ' concentrations of gasoline hydrocarbons in groundwater have generally declined, possibly due to <br /> previous source removal efforts, and/or natural attenuation processes <br /> ' On October 23, 2002, Ramage Environmental supervised the installation of two additional <br /> groundwater monitoring wells One well was located near CPT-5 in the northern part of the site, <br /> and one well was located near CPT-6 within the Raylow Avenue right-of-way The results of the <br /> well installations will be documented in a report to be published with the Fourth Quarter 2002 <br /> Ngroundwater monitoring results <br /> i <br /> 1 <br /> i <br /> ' 7 <br />
