Valinoti : <br /> On August 1 and 2, 1990, California Integrated Waste Management <br /> Board (Board) staff conducted an inspection of the Austin Road <br /> Landfill for compliance with Public Resources Code (PRC) , <br /> Division 30 and Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations <br /> (CCR) , Chapters 3 and 5. <br /> In the subsequent State Inspection Report, dated August 29, 1990, <br /> we requested that violations and areas of concern be addressed <br /> and corrected as soon as possible in order to comply with <br /> applicable sections of 14 CCR and 30 PRC. <br /> In response, the Board received a compliance agreement on <br /> November 9, 1990, from Mr. Phil Giambastiani of Gambi Enterprises <br /> addressing how the problems will be corrected. This letter was <br /> reviewed by Board staff with the following comments: <br /> VIOLATIONS <br /> 30 PRC 44004- Permit <br /> The hiring of a consulting firm by the City of Stockton to help <br /> revise the current permit is acceptable. <br /> 14 CCR 17682- Cover <br /> In order to effectively prevent propagation or attraction of <br /> flies, rodents or other vectors; to control landfill fires; to <br /> prevent the creation of nuisances, cover material compacted to a <br /> minimum thickness of six (6) inches shall be placed over all <br /> surfaces of waste daily.
