Crandall, Project Engineer <br />California Regional Water Quality <br />Control Board <br />Central Valley Region <br />3443 Routier Road <br />Sacramento CA 9582.7-30.98 <br />CANNERY WASTE --AUSTIN ROAD LANDFILL, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br />(CASE NO. 2148) <br />This letter is in response to your February 8, 1988, letter <br />concerning cannery waste being disposed of at the Citv's Austin <br />Road Landfill. <br />Shortly after your August 17, 1987, inspection report where you <br />informed the City that the cannery waste cannot be taken to the <br />Austin Road Landfill under the current waste discharge <br />requirements, the City sent a notice to all contract haulers <br />informing them that cannery waste would no longer be accepted at <br />the Austin Road Landfill. At this time, the City does not plan <br />to accept any cannery waste at our landfill.
