Since approval, the
State of California has adopted Subchapter 15, Title 23, California
Administrative Code. The new code requires a minimum of 3% slope on
landfills.
The City of Stockton is in the process of reshaping the landfill to
comply with this requirement, even though a portion of the landfill
predates the code change. Reshaping the top of the landfill will take
approximately 18 months to complete.
`JO PHiLKER
DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF
U' JW:ejs
PUBLIC WORKS
