If verification monitoring is in effect la can be waived and <br /> instead use appropriate water quality data <br /> peon-upgradient wells may be used if: <br /> 1. hydrogeologic conditions do not allow upgradient <br /> sampling <br /> OR <br /> 2. sampling at other wells will provide a <br /> representative indication of background water quality <br /> c. When determining a background value for eachindicator• <br /> parameter or waste •constituent: <br /> is use a minimum of 1 sample from each background well <br /> H. Use a ainimum of 4 samples <br /> iii. If only 1 background well, 4 samples shall be obtained <br /> by splitting the sample into 4 aliquots and conducting <br /> a separate analysis for each aliquot <br /> LAND AND WATER USE <br /> 1.
