CLEARWATER G R O U P, I N C • Sandy strata appear to be thinner in the area of MW4, and appear to thicken in a downgradient direction + Well-graded sand deposits (apparently a few feet thick) were encountered at depths of approximately 8 feet, 30 feet, and 35 feet bgs m MW-5 and MW-6 Strata between 40 feet and 80 feet bgs were investigated only during the drilling of CPTB-7 Two poorly graded sand units, separated by approximately 10 feet of clay, were encountered in the boring The following is a summary of the strata encountered at the CPTB-7 location Clayey sand from 40 feet to approximately 48 feet, underlain by a silty clay unit 48 feet to approximately 58 feet bgs • A poorly graded sand (for reference, "deeper sand A") from approximately 58 to 63 feet bgs • A dark green-gray clay layer from approximately 63 to 72 feet bgs , * Another poorly graded sand deposit ("deeper sand B") from 72 to 78 feet bgs , ' • Sin sand from 78 feet to total depth of 81 feet b s.
