The extent of the groundwater contamination has not been defined.
r
}
SCOPE OF WORK
i' The scope of work for the investigation included the following tasks:
1. Researching geological soil maps, seismic maps, water supply maps and
reports.
2. Drilling and installing three (3) on-site groundwater monitoring wells using
a Mobile B-80 drilling rig with 6-1/4 Inch Inside diameter hollow stem
- augers.
3. Visually classifying and continuously logging substrata encountered at
monitoring well locations (APPENDIX A).
! s
4. Collecting soil samples at five (5) foot Intervals and a groundwater sample at
i- each monitoring well location.
5. Field screening soil samples using a NNU 101 Photolonization Meter
(APPENDIX A).
6. Conducting laboratory tests on soil samples and groundwater samples
collected from the testhole borings/monitoring wells (APPENDIX B).
i 7. Analyzing and interpreting field data and laboratory results.
:.
ith the California E.UFT Manual Guidelines, EPA
The work was conducted in accordance w
ER
c-
Regulations,ASTM Test Methoda,and Sa,,,toaquin County Requirements.
2
