EMPLOYEE TOLD THEM <br /> IT WOULD BE READY IN 18 MINUTES. COMPLAINANT ARRIVED AT 12:40 TO PICK UP ORDER AND COOK <br /> INFORMED THEM THEY FORGOT TO MAKE THEIR ORDER AND STARTED IT RIGHT AWAY, COMPLAINANT <br /> ALLEGES THAT THE FOOD ONLY TOOK 5 MINUTES AND THOUGHT IT WAS A LITTLE STRANGE BECAUSE THEY <br /> WERE TOLD IT WOULD TAKE ABOUT 18 MINUTES. COMPLAINANT GOT FOOD AND STARTED EATING IT AROUND <br /> 12:50. COMPLAINANT STATED FIRST PIECE TASTED OFF. COMPLAINANT CHECKED SECOND PIECE AND IT <br /> APPEARED TO BE RAW. COMPLAINANT ALLEGES AT AROUND 4:45 THEY BECAME VERY DIZZY AND NAUSEOUS. <br /> AT ABOUT 5:00 THEY STARTED VOMITING AND HAD DIARRHEA. COMPLAINANT COULD NOT DRIVE HOME FROM <br /> WORK BECAUSE THEY WERE SO DIZZY. SPOUSE HAD TO DRIVE THEM HOME. COMPLAINANT ALLEGES THEY <br /> WERE STILL VOMITING AT MIDNIGHT. COMPLAINANT DID NOT SEE DOCTOR BUT CALLED PUBLIC HEALTH. <br /> COMPLAINANT STATES THEY STILL FEEL NAUSEOUS AND FATIGUED. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. The manager stated the the <br /> chicken breast bites or boneless wings are prepared in 6.5 minutes, this is monitored but a timer that is pressed as soon as <br /> the wings are placed into the deep fryer.All items used are precooked and kept frozen until placed into the deep fryer.All <br /> items that are placed into the deep-fryer are on a timer system that is followed by al staff no exceptions, even if an order was <br /> forgotten and done as quickly as possible. Boneless wings were checked as they came out of the deep fryer, observed the <br /> chicken at 270F after being cooked for 6.5 minutes.A few of the boneless wings were opened by the manager to observe if <br /> any of the wings were still raw, however all wings opened were cooked completely.
