s <br /> DailyDuties ( Raptor) <br /> • Check recirculation pump for operation. <br /> • Check oil level in pump bearings sight glass, fill if needed. <br /> • Check for Proper water distribution. <br /> • Remove any debris hanging from bottom of towers. <br /> Secondary Clarifier SOP. <br /> The following procedures should be completed daily. <br /> • Inspect clarifier surface for sludge scum and debris. <br /> • Break up floating material with light spray from hose. <br /> • Break up algae growing on sides of tank and effluent weir with a light <br /> spray from hose. <br /> • Brush sludge on sidewalls into sludge hopper. <br /> Aerobic Digester SOP. <br /> These procedures should be completed when required. <br /> Aeration: <br /> Digester should be kept full when aerating <br /> Blower operation will cycle automatically. <br /> Sedimentation: <br /> Blower will turn off automatically to create a quiescent condition. <br /> Allow sufficient time for sedimentation to take place. <br /> Decant. <br /> When automatic sludge cycle occurs new sludge will displace clear water from <br /> top of tank. <br /> Thickened sludge will be removed periodically by pump truck. <br /> Aerobic digester will automatically return to aeration sequence. <br /> Drywell Effluent Disposal System SOP. <br /> The following procedures outline the drywell operation.
