Samples were collected from all of the wells and submitted under
Chain-of-Custody control to Argon Laboratories (Argon) to be analyzedfor total coliform `
organisms, ammonia as nitrogen, nitrate as nitrogen, pH, and total dissolved solids (TDS).
Trihalomethane(THM) compounds are analyzed annually during fourth quarter monitoring effort
and were not included in this monitoring event. The Del-Tech field monitoring summary report is '
r
included in Attachment 1 and the Argon analytical results are included in Attachment 2. Parameters
measured in the field during purging and sampling are summarized in Tables 1 a through 1 c and
laboratory analytical results are summarized in Tables 2a through 2c.
i1
S
Water Levels
t
As summarized in Table 1, depth to groundwater varied between about 65 to 67 feet below the
ground surface. Based on surveyed reference elevations, the groundwater table in the.immediate
vicinity of the monitoring wells occurs approximately at elevation --45.82 ft to -46.22'ft, with an
approximate gradient to the southwest.' As described in previous reports, the groundwater gradient
4: is defined solely by the three monitoring wells installed for mobile home community. Because the
wells are relatively closely spaced, small changes in elevation can appreciably influence the gradient
iY magnitude and direction. Additionally, the gradient applies only to the immediate vicinity of the
monitoring wells and may not be representative of the surrounding area or.region.
4 Analytical Results
As shown in Tables 1(a-c) and 2(a-c), field and laboratory analytical results for the March 2009
monitoring event were generally similar to the results obtained during the previous monitoring '
periods (groundwater monitoring at the site was initiated in October 2001). As described in the
I.
'Groundwater elevations associated with well MW-3 (-45.86 feet on March 6, 2009) are
uncertain because this well was repaired and the reference elevation has not been resurveyed to
date. k
i;
CAA_Projects\Shado%LakeWonf toringReportsU Q2009ReportU Q2009Repar1.wpd .
II4
k
