RMC Geoscience, Inc.
Shadow Lake Mobile Home Community
February 2, 2011
Page 4
Analytical Results
As shown in Tables 1(a-c) and 2(a-c), field and laboratory inorganic analytical results for the
September 2010 monitoring event were generally similar to the results obtained during the previous
monitoring periods (groundwater monitoring at the site was initiated in October 2001). The
following THM compounds were detected during the fourth quarter:
• The THM compound Chloroform was detected at a concentration of 1.30 ug/L in
wellMW-1. These results are consistent with previous monitoring results(see Table
2a); and
• Chloroform was detected at a concentration of 0.9 ug/L in well MW-3. These results
are consistent with previous monitoring results(see Table 2c).
Total coliforms were detected at a concentration of 16.1 MPN/100 mL in wells MW-2 and MW-3
and at a concentration of 5.1 MPN/100 mL in well MW-1. These concentrations are within the
range of results previously detected in these wells. Because total coliforms were detected, the
laboratory also analyzed the samples for fecal coliforms. Fecal coliforms were not detected in wells
MW-2 and MW-3,but were detected at a concentration of 3.6 MPN/100 mil in well MW-1.
Please contact the undersigned if you have any questions or need additional information.
Very truly yours,
RMC Geoscience,Inc.
