During our phone conversation I agreed to
immediately schedule a pumper to remove the liquid and to pump the lift station and microseptec
units to eliminate the flow to the surface. This work was scheduled for the morning of February
8, 2011. I also agreed to analyze the problem and provide a recommendation to you.
Immediate Actions Taken
• The lift station and the first and last chamber of each of the three microseptec units were
Pumped to remove all liquid.
Any surface liquid was also collected with the pumper truck. E
• On the first day following the rain the surface affected by the liquids overflowing was
treated with lime. This treatment was done on 2112111.
The system was checked out to verify that all pumps were working. This was done on
219/11.
Problem Analysis i
f
• A review was made of the flowmeter data from each of the three microseptee units
leading to the filterbeds to look for an unusual occurrence such as a failed pump or an
increase in usage. Attached is a drawing showing the cumulative gallons versus time for
March of 2009 to January of 2011. The table below shows the total gallons during the
period of January 2014 to January 2011 and the gallons per day for each of the filterbeds.
k
k
33233 S.
