JC AIR ACADEMY <br />Guadalupe Gonzalez <br />(209) 233-5881 <br />Aug. 14, 2019 <br />To: John Alaniz ( san Joaquin County Health Department ) <br />Violation item # <br />101.- An application to reactivate or issue new EPA number has been submitted on July 26, 2019. <br />102.- Rodger Ainsworth is not associated with maintenance shop since June 1st of this year. Once the <br />EPA # is issued, a hazardous waste collection agency will be contacted, in the mean time a container for <br />canisters and dried felts will be assigned. <br />104.- Emergency Coordinator has been in place since my insertion as Director of Maintenance via a <br />Meeting ( and now a letter issued ) with the staff, all staff members have my number and know I must be <br />informed of any issue, staff is well aware of all of the fire extinguishers and their locations. <br />110.- Records are not available since the previous manager did not requested them, as soon as the EPA# <br />is issued a Hazardous waste collection agency will be contacted and record keeping will start. <br />113.- as soon as the EPA# is issued a Hazardous waste collection agency will be contacted and record <br />keeping will start. <br />115.- Lead acid batteries do come with a bill of landing in the form of an invoice / shipping label and <br />entered into a binder for tracking, the used batteries will be disposed of in a proper manner as soon as <br />abled. <br />303.- Secondary containment container has been cleaned out and personnel made aware, fire <br />extinguishers are up to date and working. <br />403.- All buckets are labeled and lids installed, area reorganized <br />505.- Used oil container in second hangar is marked with the proper wording “ Hazardous Waste” <br />601.- An application for issuance of an EPA# has been filed on 7/26/19, I have contacted safety-kleen and <br />evergreen waste recycling and both required the EPA#. I hereby request that an extension to comply <br />with this mandate be granted for additional 30 days to be able comply. <br />605.- All containers have been labeled and lids installed.
