Approximate Depth to Groundwater 15 74 to 16 96 Measured Feet
Groundwater Gradient 0 001 tuft (Magnitude)
Groundwater Flow Direction North-northwest Direction
Discussion On November$, 2001, ATC Associates, Incorporated(ATC)personnel gauged 8 groundwater monitor wells (Figure 1 and
2) Depth to groundwater ranged between 15 74(MW-7)to 16 96(MW-1)feet below ground surface(bgs) The direction of groundwater
flows north-northwest with a calculated hydraulic gradient of approximately 0 001 ft/t3 (Figure 2) No measurable phase-separated
hydrocarbons (PSH) were recorded during this monitoring event Groundwater elevations and contours are illustrated on Figure 2 and
groundwater monitor data is presented in Table 1
On November 8, 2001, ATC collected groundwater samples from 8 monitoring wells ATC utilized the attached sampling procedures
described in Appendix A to collect groundwater samples from MW-1, MW-2, MW-3, MW-4,MW-5, MW-6, MW-7, and MW-8 Field
logs are also included in Appendix A Groundwater samples collected were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons characterized as
gasoline (TPHg), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylems (BTEX), fuel oxygenates methyl tert-butyl ether (MBE) di-isopropyl
ether (DIPS), ethyl tert-butyl ether (ETBE), tem-amyl methyl ether (TAME), and tert-butyl alcohol (TBA), fuel additives 1,2-
dichloroethane (1,2-DCA) and 1,2-dibromoethane (EDB) by EPA Test Method 8260, and methanol and ethanol by EPA Test Method
8015E The highest TPHg, benzene, and MTBE concentrations reported were 4,300, 5 3, and 2'1 'mwrogranms per liter (Ag/L),
respectively The highest'TPHg concentration was reported in MW-5, the highest benzene concentration was reported in MW-1, and the
highest MTBE concentration was reported in MW-6 No DIPE, ETBE,TAME,TBA, 1,2-DCA,EDB,methanol,or ethanol concentrations
were reported above their respective laboratory detection limits in any of the 8 wells sampled during this mointonng event TPHg,
benzene, and MTBE concentrations are illustrated on Figure 2 and historic groundwater analytical results are presented m'Table 1
Groundwater analytical results for fuel oxygenate and additives are presented to Table 2 Hydrographs of groundwater elevations and
' analytical data are attached in Appendix B and complete laboratory analytical results and chain-of-custody documentation are attached in
Appendix C
