From the data collected on February 22, 1996, the groundwater flow direction was
determined to be northwest. The average hydraulic gradient across the site was approximately
0 001 feet per foot (calculated between wells MW-3 and MW-6). Groundwater elevations and
flow directions for February 22, 1996 are shown on Figure 1
TPHg was identified in four of the eight wells sampled at concentrations ranging from 140
micrograms per liter (µg/L) (well MW-6) to 15,000 µg/L (well MW-5). Benzene was detected
in three of the eight well at concentrations ranging from 24 µg/L (well MW-1) to 60 µg/L
(well MW-5). Analytical results of groundwater samples are summarized in Table 1 and
illustrated on Figure 1. The analytical laboratory report for the February 22, 1996 sampling
event is included in Attachment A.
If you have any questions regarding this quarterly monitoring report, please contact me at
(510) 210-2278.
Sincerely,
BROWN AND CALDWELL 7
f r
Todd Miller
Cahforcua Registered Geologist No 6328
TM:lkg
I
`
Attachment' I `
` 1
cc: Mr. John Reeves, Attorney at Law "
Ms. Linda Turkatte, San Joaquin County Public Health Services Department
Mr. Steve Camp, Brown and Root
I
, I
E l5E5U1TRLYRP %1008'AT11SI'1496 VVPS
ti
I I !I
I p,I I" 'i,II I I I itli II II lh , II III q VAI I ill I f IIk II I I iii .I + II 'll I I
