Soil was spread out on- <br /> site to a thickness of 1 to 2 feet and tumad over with a loader bucket to assist <br /> in the aeration process. Upon completion of the aeration process, a verification <br /> sample composed of 4 subsamples was collected for every 50 cubic yards of <br /> s` <br /> soil aerated. <br /> Soil stockpiles CS-6 and CS-7 representing approximately 100 cubic yards and <br /> soil stockpiles CSX-1 through CSX-7 representing approximately 350 cubic yards <br /> were used to backfill the former UGST excavation. These materials were <br /> backfilled and recompacted by the site construction contractor. <br /> SOIL REMOVAL <br /> s <br /> { Approximately 960 cubic yards of soil were transported to Forward Landfill in <br /> Stoekton, California.
