4 <br /> 3 0 SOIL VAPOR SURVEY RESULTS <br /> The soil vapor survey was conducted in August of 1992 by Environmental Control <br /> Associates and was supervised by a Canonie site engineer A total of nine soil vapor <br /> t survey points were sampled, with samples collected at two discreet depths at each <br /> location The Soil Vapor Survey Report is provided in Appendix B, and the locations <br /> of the sampling points are shown on Figure 3 of that report Six samples showed <br /> detectable concentrations of TPH-G SG-1 at 9 feet (25,000 parts per billion <br /> volumetrically [PPBv]), SG-2 at 9 and 15 feet (111 ,000 and 1 ,700 PPBv, respectively), <br /> SG-4 at 15 feet (26,000 PPBv), SG-5 at 9 feet (9,000 PPBv), and SG-6 at 15 feet <br /> (600 PPBv) A summary of soil vapor survey results is provided in Table 2 of <br /> Appendix B These results indicate that the largest potential source is probably near <br /> the former northern pump island Proposed boring and well locations were based on <br /> this information <br /> w <br /> PL}W 191 6341REP0RTSISITE ASSWANTECAWANTECA RPT IAPr 26 931 CanoweEnvlronmental <br />
