California <br /> Dear Mr. Knoll. <br /> This Site Assessment Work Plan has been prepared by Canonie Environmental <br />' Services Corp (Canonie) for Time Oil Co. (Time Oil) as a preliminary investigation and <br /> evaluation of the Underground Storage Tank (UST) site at the Jackpot Food Mart <br />' located at 1434 E. Yosemite Avenue in Manteca, California (see Figure 1). This letter <br /> report presents the scope of work for investigation and evaluation of the extent of <br /> migration from a former UST system in accordance with the Tri-Regional Board <br />' <br /> Recommendations for Pr limy Inves i s ion Evaluation of UndergroundTank Sites <br /> (August 1990). <br /> Sag Background <br /> The UST removal activities at the site were performed on September 19, 1991. <br /> These activities included the removal of three gasoline USTs (one 12,000-gallon tank <br /> which contained regular unleaded gasoline, one 8,000-gallon tank which contained <br /> regular leaded gasoline, and a 6,000-gallon tank which contained premium unleaded <br /> gasoline), the excavation and stockpiling of soils from the common tank pit, and soil <br /> sampling as described in this report New tank installation was performed concurrent <br /> with the UST removal in a separate excavation (see Figure 2). <br /> Tank removal activities consisted of the following: <br /> 1 .
