i 1.0 INTRODUCTION Science & Engineering Analysis Corporation (SEACOR ) has prepared this report to describe the remedial activities to be performed at the Jackpot Food Mart at 1434 West Yosemite Avenue in Manteca, California(Figure 1) In addition, the results of the most recent groundwater monitoring Iand sampling event conducted at the site are presented This report has been prepared at the request of Time Oil Company, the property owner This report was written to comply with the guidelines Iset forth by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board(CRWQCB)regarding consultants' reports for final remedial plans (FRP's) I 1 1 P=ose of Remedial Plan IThe purpose of this remedial plan is to summarize the results of environmental investigations performed to date, identify the appropnate technology, and implement a final corrective action based on the data produced from previous investigations The FRP presents results of hydrogeologic measurements, results of field tests and/or laboratory pilot studies, and remedial system design for a treatment system to remediate residual hydrocarbon impacted soil on-site This information is Ipresented in following sections of this report 12 Site Location and Qescription The site is located on the west side of the City of Manteca in San Joaquin County, California in a mixed commercial and residential distnct The property is currently an operating Jackpot Food Mart and BP Station with an automobile repair shop adjacent to the eastern property boundary and a vacant lot and residential area to the south West Yosemite Avenue is directly north and Watson Avenue is directly west of the site The former and current site features are shown on the Site Plan I (Figure 2) The site is approximately 30 feet above mean sea level Locally the land slopes very gently towards the San Joaquin River and Walthall Slough,which are 3 5 miles southwest of the site I iOC1474 FAP til ACOR` NOW5-DD2-01 1 Aug-26 1994 I
