1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> Science & Engineering Analysis Corporation (SEACOR ) has prepared this report to describe the <br /> remedial activities to be performed at the Jackpot Food Mart at 1434 West Yosemite Avenue in <br /> Manteca, California(Figure 1) In addition, the results of the most recent groundwater monitoring <br /> and sampling event conducted at the site are presented This report has been prepared at the request <br /> of Time Oil Company, the property owner This report was written to comply with the guidelines <br /> set forth by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board(CRWQCB) regarding consultants' <br /> reports for final remedial plans (FRP's) <br /> I <br /> 1 I Purpose of]Remedial Plan <br /> The purpose of this remedial plan is to summarize the results of environmental investigations <br /> performed to date, identify the appropriate technology, and implement a final corrective action based <br /> on the data produced from previous investigations The FRP presents results of hydrogeologic <br /> measurements, results of field tests and/or laboratory pilot studies, and remedial system design for <br /> a treatment system to remediate residual hydrocarbon impacted soil on-site This information is <br /> Ipresented in following sections of this report <br />' 12 ,Site Location and Description <br /> The site is located on the west side of the City of Manteca in San Joaquin County, California in a <br /> mixed commercial and residential district The property is currently an operating Jackpot Food Mart <br /> and BP Station with an automobile repair shop adjacent to the eastern property boundary and a <br /> vacant lot and residential area to the south West Yosemite Avenue is directly north and Watson <br /> Avenue is directly west of the site The former and current site features are shown on the Site Plan <br /> (Figure 2) The site is approximately 30 feet above mean sea level Locally the land slopes very <br /> gently towards the San Joaquin River and Walthall Slough,which are 3 S miles southwest of the site <br /> To"',F11P 1 %I.ACOR' <br /> Wm40 OMI 1 Aupw126 1994 <br />
