Firefighters should wear full face, self-contained <br /> Procedures: breathing apparatus and full protective clothing. <br /> Unusual Fire and Closed containers exposed to excessive heat may rupture. Do not crush or puncture containers. <br /> Explosion Hazards: <br /> Section 6. Accidental Release Measures <br /> Spill or Release For small spills (e.g., < 1 gallon)wear appropriate personal equipment(e.g., goggles, gloves). <br /> Procedures: Maximize ventilation (open doors and windows)and secure sources of ignition. Remove spilled <br /> material and place to appropriate closed container(s))for disposal. Dispose of properly in accordance <br /> with local, state, and federal regulations. Remove contaminated <br /> clothing promptly and wash affected areas with soap and water. Keep spills and cleaning runoffs out <br /> of municipal sewers and open bodies of water. <br /> Section 7. Handling and Storage <br /> Handling & Storing: Keep container closed when not in use. Store in cool place. Keep away from heat, sparks and <br /> flame. Do not lay the container on its side. Use with proper ventilation. Avoid prolonged <br /> breathing vapor. Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged or repeated skin contact. Static <br /> electricity may accumulate and cause a fire hazard. <br /> Information about the empty container: <br /> Do not re-use the container. Container will be hazardous when emptied.
