Percolation Test Irerracon
Williams Property Acampo, California
June 25, 2020 Terracon Project No. NA197051
June 5, 2020, all borings were found to be dry and intact on the day of the percolation test.
Approximately 0.5 feet of water was added over gravel and the drop in water level was recorded
every 30 minutes over a four hour period. The final 30 minutes of the test was observed by EHD
representative Ms. Daria Afonskaia who signed the percolation test form.
Table 2
Summary of Percolation Test
Test No. Percolation Test Percolation Rate Test Duration Comments
Date Tested Depth (feet) (min/in) (hours)
B1
3.5 0 4 Unsatisfactory
06-05-2020 Percolation Rate
B2 25.0 0 4 Unsatisfactory
06-05-2020 Percolation Rate
B3 22.0 7.14 4 Satisfactory
06-05-2020 Percolation Rate
A satisfactory percolation rate is 60 minutes per inch or less for shallow leach lines and 30 minutes
per inch or less for septic pits per San Joaquin County Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems
Standards (EHD 42-014), January 2017.
CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATION
Based on the results of the field work, site soils consist primarily of sandy silt to silty sand to 25
feet bgs. Based on percolation test results, soil boring B3 at 22 feet bgs has demonstrated a
satisfactory percolation rate of 7.14 minutes/inch in accordance with San Joaquin County
requirements for the use of a standard septic system.
LIMITATIONS
The conclusions of this report are based on the information provided regarding the existing and
proposed development, the use of the subject property, and the site conditions as they existed at
the time we excavated our soil borings and performed the percolation test. it was assumed that
the soil borings and percolation test results are representative of the subsurface conditions in the
general area.
Our professional services were performed, our findings obtained, and our conclusions proposed
in accordance with generally accepted engineering principles and practices.
