In the hazardous <br />waste storage area: <br />-One black 55 gallon steel drum containing uncrushed/un pu nctu red oil filters (1/4 full) was observed with a <br />hazardous waste label missing the accumulation start date. <br />-One black 55 gallon steel drum containing oily debris (1/4 full) had an illegible hazardous waste label. <br />-One black 55 gallon steel drum containing used antifreeze (1/2 full) had a hazardous waste label that was illegible. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br />words "Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br />(contents), accumulation start date <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br />action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br />(EHD) within 30 days. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by November 3, 2019. <br />Starting September 1, 2018, all in -office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
