All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. <br />Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or <br />removing waste. <br />Corrected on site. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 602 CCR 66262.34(e)(1)(B) Stored satellite accumulated waste on site longer than one year or 180 days after fill date. <br />One full 30 gallon black container with brake fluid observed with no accumulation start date, employee stated that <br />the container has been there for longer than a year. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste <br />per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. <br /> Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy <br />of the manifest to the EHD. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br /> 603 CCR 66262.34(e)(1)(C) Failed to mark initial accumulation start date on satellite containers. <br />One 30 gallon black container with used brake fluid did not have an initial start date marked. The initial date of <br />waste accumulation shall be clearly marked and visible for inspection on each container used for satellite <br />accumulation of hazardous waste.
