4230A215-Mar2008 4330A215-Mar2008 <br /> AIR SWITCH ADJUSTMENT WITH “COLD” FRYER <br /> To adjust the Air Switch, do the following: <br /> 1. Turn the Manual Gas Valve OFF and disconnect the Fryer’s electrical cord. <br /> 2. Attach Volt - Ohm - Meter (VOM) leads to COMMON and NORMALLY CLOSED terminal on the Air Switch and set it to <br /> read resistance. <br /> 3. Attach Pressure Meter between Blower Box and Air Switch. (Insert in the Air Pressure Tube.) <br /> 4. Cover Flue Outlet with a plate. <br /> 5. Bypass the Computer by removing the two (2) BLUE wires on the Computer’s 24 Volt DC Control Relay; then place a <br /> JUMPER on these terminal wires. <br /> 6. Connect the fryer’s electrical plug to a receptacle. The Fryer will turn ON. <br /> 7. Adjust the plate over the flue outlet until the pressure meter reads 1.3 PSI . <br /> 8. Adjust the set screw on the AIR SWITCH so the Volt - Ohm - Meter (VOM) reads ABOVE and BELOW “ZERO” continuity <br /> several times; the set it to read “ZERO”. <br /> 9. Place LOCKTITE on the Air Switch Set Screw. <br />10. Remove the Fryer’s electrical plug from the receptacle; remove the JUMPER wire from the Control Relay BLUE wires and <br /> reconnect them to the Relay Terminals. Remove the VOM, the Pressure Meter and the plate over the flue. <br />11. Connect the Fryer’s electrical plug to the receptacle, turn the gas to the Fryer ON and resume normal operations.
