Let it sit, then rinse the trough.
GRATES
• Gray Anti-slip Grating (standard)
• ADA Grating (optional)
• Heavy-Duty Fiberglass Grating (optional)
• Pultruded Fiberglass Grating (optional)
• Stainless Steel Subway Grating (optional)
• Stainless Steel Anti-Slip Subway Grating (optional)
If there is a need to place heavy objects in the Made To Drain areas during equipment servicing, remodeling, etc., it is
recommended that 3/4" (19) sheets of plywood be cut in sizes to replace the grates and minimize risk of damage.
• Ideally, the fiberglass grates should be cleaned daily. The grates can be washed in a three compartment sink or deck brush while they
are in place on the units. Grates should always be installed with the anti-slip rough side up.
• Improper cleaning of the grates per the above recommendations may lead to the growth of mold and mildew. Regular cleaning will
prevent this from occurring. However, if mold or mildew develops on your grates, deck brushing the grates with a solution such as
Ramsey’s Power Bolt cleaner and degreaser will take care of the problem. NOTE: Do not use chlorine based products to clean the
grates while they are still in place on the Troughs as these chemicals may damage the stainless steel.
• The non-slip grates should NOT be mopped as the abrasive surface will tear strings from the mops that can possibly clog the drain.
