ASE will perform the scope of work outlined above on a "Time a n d
Materials" basis. A cost breakdown for installation and start-up is
attached in the Cost Breakdown Section of this document.
ASE's specific proposed scope of work for the MONTHLY OPERATION AND
MAINTENANCE OF THE REMEDIATION SYSTEM is to:
1 ) Mobilize to the site, as necessary, on a weekly basis to ensure the
proper operation of the remediation system.
2) Optimize the pumping rate for each individual recovery well.
3) Measure the drawdown/capture zone of the recovery wells in t h e
nearby observation wells.
4) Collect influent and effluent water samples, as required, for analyses
of TPH-G, TPH-D, BTEX and the fuel oxygenates by EPA Methods 8 2 6 0
and 8015, to determine system compliance and activated carbon
breakthrough.
5) Conduct the required maintenance and service of the mechanical
systems as specified by the manufacturer.
6) As necessary, when determined by analytical results of the treated
water, regenerate the spent carbon on site using a mobile rig.
7) Prepare a monthly report documenting the month's activities,
gallons extracted and treated, and analytical results of water
samples. This report will be issued to the City of Manteca Public
Works Agency, the San Joaquin County PHS-EHD, and the RWQCB.
ASE will perform the scope of work outlined above on a "Time a n d
Materials" basis. A cost breakdown for the monthly operation a n d
maintenance is attached in the Cost Breakdown Section of this document.
NOTES:
1) When it has been determined that a reduction in site visits a n d
sample collection frequency is warranted, ASE will re-calculate the
monthly costs.
2) The sampling frequency has not been determined at this time. The
City of Manteca has not yet provided ASE with their conditions for
Proposal #2000-154 and #2000-155 for a Remediation System, Frank's One Stop Property
-3-
