(ASE) has received your letter dated March <br /> 28, 2001 directing our, client, Mr. Frank Guinta, to perform activities <br /> related to the alternative water supply of nearby affected domestic wells. <br /> Since receipt of your letter: <br /> 10 <br /> • ASE has been researching likely wellhead treatment options for the <br /> removal of pollutants identified in the nearby domestic wells. <br /> • ASE's intends to schedule a meeting during the week of April 16, 2001 <br /> between our client, ASE, the San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD), the Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board (RWQCB), members of the City of Manteca Public Works <br /> Department, and the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) to <br /> discuss annexation of the affected residences and installation of a City <br /> of Manteca water line to each affected residence. <br /> • ASE has spoken to Aeropure Water to discuss possible modifications of <br /> their water supply truck and schedule in an effort to lower the monthly <br /> charge for water delivery to the affected residences. <br /> ASE intends to: install a well head treatment system on one or two o f <br /> the . affected wells to conduct' a pilot study to determine the cost- <br /> effectiveness and performance effectiveness of the two most common <br /> well head treatment scenarios. <br /> t - <br />
