Containment and Diversionary Structures - <br /> §112.7(c) <br /> 8.1 Onshore Facilities - §112.7(c)(1) <br /> The following preventive systems are used at the Facility to prevent a discharge of oil from reaching <br /> a navigable water course: <br /> 8.1.1 1,000-gallon Diesel Fuel AST <br /> A containment berm is constructed around the base of the 1,000-gallon diesel fuel AST The floor <br /> and walls of the containment consist of concrete and are sufficiently impervious based upon the <br /> construction material and the lack of any visible migration pathways. The gross containment <br /> capacity of the berm is 2,942 gallons, which is sufficient to contain the maximum volume of the tank <br /> and allows sufficient freeboard for precipitation of 2.28 inches for the 25-year, 24-hour worst rainfall <br /> event. <br /> 8.1.2 180-gallon Diesel Fuel AST at Bldg A Fire Pump (on south property <br /> boundary) <br /> A containment berm is constructed around the base of the 180-gallon diesel fuel AST used for the <br /> firewater pump.
