bond
8. Secondary Containment
Secondary containment is inherent in the design of the double-walled Poly Tank. Continuous leak
detection monitoring is provided by the Leak Minder monitoring system. Although it is not double-
walled, the CPVC conveyance piping and fittings are all aboveground and are inspected daily.
9. Age of Tank System
The Poly Tank System was installed in February 2019 with all new components.
10. Poly Tank Tightness Test
A test of the tightness of the Poly Tank was conducted on September 18-19, 2019. Over the course
of the test, no steam cleaning occurred and no additional wastewater entered the Poly Tank. Photo
documentation of the test is presented in Appendix L and shows that over a 22 1/2-hour period, the
contents of the Poly Tank were measured at depths of 7.83 and 7.81 feet, which is considered within
an acceptable range, allowing for water temperature variance, to conclude the Poly Tank does not
leak.
11 .
